It's pretty much what it says. (not snarky). Many items that are used for ones hurricane preparedness kit are available with no sales tax. Since we in FL already have a very low income tax (ZERO, thanks tourists!), the lack of sales tax saves anywhere from 1.00 when buying small batteries to whatever might be saved on a power generator for ones home.

Edit: Welcome to FL, pede! We need as many conservatives as possible to offset the liberals from blue states...

Every year they do a week-long tax break for many items needed to prepare for hurricane season.

They also do the same for "back to school" week on items for that too.

Sorry for the late reply. Most articles will have the same information, but there’s a list of what items have a tax break. It was passed recently but if you do a search for ‘Florida Hurricane tax break’ you should find that list.

Man working from home is tough. I’ve always had the option but after being couped up for 3 months I never want to work outside of an office again. Having a good relationship with your coworkers is honestly great.

I’m wired differently than most people, I have found. I’m less distracted and more efficient from home.

It takes all sorts, I guess.

True everyone is different. I tend to get distracted at home more than work but I also thrive on the social aspect of being in an office. Although I have to assume my company will have to drop their open office, no one has their own desk, sit anywhere policy after this.

That 0% state tax has got to look good on a paycheck.
