This article says nothing new. It reaffirms that people can get it by getting literally coughed on or by rubbing their eyes after touching an infected surface. It even says if someone coughed or sneezed and you walked through the "cloud" shortly after, it wouldn't infect through your eyes. This dude could have caught it before the flight.
