If she talked about me, his attitude would change and he would talk nonsensical shit. He told her that I only got my job (project manager for an aviation supplier support company and own an automotive engineering firm) because I knew somebody, for example and said that he got his by working hard. The reality was that I got my job because my resume is impressive as hell because it’s loaded with self-taught skills and companies which I started with my own capital and zero help. My company is locators 3,000 miles away from anybody I knew and I interviewed to run a site 1,000 miles away from anybody I knew. It probably killed him that she was with somebody way more attractive and successful than him but when he found out that I was a Trump supporter it drove him over the edge and he went from worshipping the ground she walked on to trying to get her fired.
