As far as I am concerned when LE officers act that way they are no longer legitimate government officers, they are traitors and rogues, terrorists with badges is all.
As a Veteran I remember my own Oath, unlike those Evil barstewards I will keep mine. We swore to defend against Enemies foreign and Domestic, and we swore to refuse illegal orders but to carry out legal orders to the best of our ability. We were expected to understand the difference between the two things, classes on Code of Conduct and Military Law and chain of command, instructions on how to seek help using the unofficial chain of command if needed, such as the IG or Chaplain's offices.
Those guys are not legit LE officers, doesn't matter what their paycheck says, they are not legit.
You can educate the Lady, warn her even, offer her help if she needs it. But to take her down in such horsefeathery fashion is tyranny, if she MUST be interdicted do it respectfully and with deference for her and her child.

Before you ask "Would we kill?" you must ask the question, "Are these cops the enemy of the country or the constitution?" Because this is a serious thing. I think you should explore this concept before you answer these questions.
