As much as everything about the vaccine is a huge crock of shit, I do understand why Trump is playing the angle that he did. He can’t simply completely write it off right now, that would be really bad publicity, and would look really bad to most normies. It would cause a media shitstorm that he probably wouldn’t be able to weather.

“If there is one, you won’t be forced to take it” is probably the best stance he could have gone with, all things considered.
