There were very few rifles, but I assure you a good number of people were concealing pistols. Its not as if there were plans to storm the Capitol Building and there has been no violence at the last 2 rallies so going with arms at the ready wasn't seen as necessary. Just wait for the 2A rally June 8th, you'll see a ton of guns there.
I've went back and forth about this myself. Generally speaking, I live in an open carry state but got my CC license because I'd prefer to not broadcast the fact that I'm armed. Something about not letting your enemies know what your capable of/element of surprise etc. etc. Although I guess in this case it's more about showing tyrants how far you're willing to go. Still, I prefer to conceal. Kinda hard to do w/ a rifle, though haha

This is PA, not TX. It's pretty 'taboo' to open carry here. Concealed sure, but the law does not mention that you can't open carry.
That rally is planned for the 8th of June. There is a annual lobby day held each year around May. since the lock down. it's been pushed back. I'm trying to figure out if it's going to be a lobby day or a open carry rally.
For your own security, and for defense of the state should an insurrection spontaneously occur.
I wear a suit and tie and carry a hunting rifle so that people get comfortable seeing guns at rallies. (I'm in WA)

I don't. A great many HCWs got laid off during covid because they had no work to do. The dancing idiots are among the lucky ones who kept their jobs ... But still had no work to do. So they decided to piss in the faces of those who are working hard by dancing around in PPE for views, saying "look at us, look at how hard we're working for you". But they weren't, because they were making shitty videos.

I live in Lancaster County, one of the counties Wolf is holding back for no good reason. We had 207 deaths from the CCP virus so far, and 90% of them occurred in nursing homes. So unless you have a compromised immune system, you're in no more danger from this virus than you are from any other.
We didn't go to the protest, but we did our share to defy the governor's orders today. Packed the car up with the kids and dog, drove up to Lititz and walked all around the parks and shops. Many of the shop owners are planning to open tomorrow, come what may.
We ordered coffee drinks at The Tomato Pie cafe and sat outside with a bunch of other patrons, all of us refusing to wear masks. There was a lot of traffic on the road, a beautiful day for joy riding.
If Wolf had been willing to forgo his salary during this period, I might have had some respect for him, but as it stands, he can take his stay-at-home order and shove it up his communist ass.

NYC suburbs will be open before Philly suburbs. It’s a travesty we are stuck with Supreme Leader Wolf. One thing of interest is that even some democrats are turning against Wolf. Bucks county, a suburb of Philly controlled by Dems, have been openly talking about wanting to reopen. They’re not in revolt yet like Lancaster and some republican controlled counties, but it’s at least a step in the right direction to see Democrat county commissioners starting to turn against our Supreme Leader.

I read Schuylkill County voted to ignore the orders and reopen as well.
Then after dickloc Wolf threatened to withhold funds and rip away licenses, they revoted and are now staying closed.
