Well, for one thing, leftists aren't very sharp, so they congregate in herds behind their demagogues and do as they're told. And for another thing, half of them are certifiable so, repeating mistakes and hoping for a different outcome, is what they do. Bottom line: don't expect any change from those who claim to be the vanguard of "progress".
