So if a new hip costs $150,000, and a dead pedestrian costs $10K, plenty of people are going to back up and make sure the person they hit is dead. Which leads to some horrible videos. Including people driving over toddlers to make sure they're dead.

He had the Taiwan delegation walk out of the UN when the UN decided to face reality and acknowledge that Mao ran China.
Nowadays, the KMT is the "pro-China" party in Taiwan -- they gave up on that whole "we must retake the mainland!" thing and now they just run around chanting "we must REUNIFY with the mainland!" The KMT's idea of reunification is that they will become the solely permitted uniparty to run the Taipei S.A.R.
