We just spent like 6+ trillion dollars on coronavirus relief packages. If it only costs 12 billion dollars to break China’s stranglehold on microchip production, why aren’t we funding divestment from China across every single industry? What “investments” in any of these relief packages could compete with the benefits of ending our dependence on Chinese manufacturing while relocating a ton of jobs to America?
