What are everyone's thoughts on the recent Steve Linick firing?

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-fires-steve-linick-obama-appointee-who-briefed-congress-on-biden-ukraine-ties

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/05/15/state-department-inspector-general-fired-261536

I stumbled across the Politico link on imgur.com, and with the recent Obamagate stuff I immediately got curious. That's when I found the Fox link. Those two articles obviously tell very different stories.

With the Obamagate stuff that's been recently discovered, there seems to be many pieces of strong evidence of a conspiracy to undermine the Trump campaign, and when that failed, sabotage it from the inside. I'm going to hold myself back from jumping to conclusions, but it looks like I'm going to need an absurd amount of popcorn these next few months (or years?) with the shit that's about to go down.

I also began thinking back to previous firings. The media always told a story of Trump being schizophrenic firing appointees for almost no reason except not kissing ass enough. Since I avoid politics, I never looked into it, but reserved a degree of skepticism. However, if Obamagate is true, it's very likely many of the previous firings were sabatogers left over from the Obama administration. If Trump has the power to fire these people, doesn't it also reason there people should generally be on his side, or is that a bad assumption?

I'm curious what you guys think about all this? (Full disclosure: I'm neither a trump-supporter or trump-hater.)

I saw a comment on imgur (I know, the comment section there is like Youtube's):

"Presented purely for context: Obama didn't even fill this position for the majority of his presidency."

I guess it makes sense I didn't find discussions here on the topic with a very brief search. His firing is like passing gas, everyone does it on a regular basis, and even if it stinks, it's not really worth talking about.

Bottom line..... our double damned government was/is far more corrupted than most citizens would believe. That;s why POTUS has spent the last few years unmasking it, well part of why. Americans had to be shown the evidences of corruptions, and only now are they beginning to realize the depth of the Evil which exists.

POTUS had to remove many of the Deep State corrupt actors, some were left in place to be used/monitored and many are still there. People such as Adam Schiff and others are still in their positions for various reasons, POTUS uses some as foils to present the data to America.

Ponder all POTUS has demonstrated the last 4 years, all the Evil he has first told you existed but then he showed us all as well.

State Department...hillary, Kerry, using Ambassadors like hillary did in Libya to both disseminate goods to the Enemy but also to stage attacks on American missions and people. Using Ambassadors like Yovanovich to make illegal deals in Europe and Africa while unmasking Americans/spying. Even revolution was in their game books. Yeah sure they are corrupted, all you have to do is glance at it to see it.

I think the state department is at least as guilty as the FBI in the whole sordid Trump/Russia affair. At every turn they are pushing the fake dossier.

Now think about this - that dossier has exact dates when various Trump campaigners left the country. Who would have access to their passport info? Why, the state department, of course. Even more damning, they got one wrong. They found a Michael Cohen that went to Prague in the right time frame for their needs, but it was not the Cohen connected with Trump. Same name, same age, same state of residence, different person. See? They looked up travel info, and got one wrong.

It’s been years, that IG has investigated/uncovered nothing, even as revelation after revelation emerges from the FBI about suspicious interactions they had with state department people.

In short, he is a deep state cover. He deserved to go (long ago). Expect more house cleaning as more is revealed.
