And on the flip side, what happens when Trump wins every damn state.

Would be nice but I don't see him winning the 3 west coast states and Hawaii. I'll take 45 out of 50. NY is the 5th with no hope.

Agree, but it is a comforting thought as I struggle to fall asleep with my mask and condom on.

Also Hillary Barely won NH, MN and Nevada. Even barely less than Trump won the other three.

No one mentions that.

Then I suppose it's a flip of the coin?

It would be decided in the House, but each state only gets one vote. In this scenario the Democrats would lose 26-23.

Then they deserve it because Republicans didn't vote in 2018. Fuck em

Which shows why, confident as we are, we all need to vote in this election

What about the popular vote alliance horseshit where a state gives their electoral votes not to who wins the state, but who wins the national popular vote? That shit get challenged in court yet?

That can’t be constitutional, although I know a lot of blue sates signed on. IIRC there’s a limiter in the legislation such that it doesn’t take effect unless a majority of the states agree to the same plan, or maybe 2/3s or something like that. It was enough states needed that it won’t be effective in the 2020 election. Either way I think it’s unconstitutional.

Another thing to consider is that in 2016 there were 7 faithless electors that cast votes for HRC even though Trump took the state. I think that practice is currently being challenged in the courts.
