I think if the data were stronger that the virus were as dangerous as the fear porn on tv tells me, then yes, it'd be the smart thing to do. But it's not. It's mortality rate is incredibly low, at best at the same level as the flu. If the media simply didn't cover it, we wouldn't even know it was around. We'd maybe hear about an outbreak in NYC, and that's about it. The mask is a symbol of control, and wearing one not only plays into that, but helps create and push the fear they're relying on to keep this going, and keep us obedient. As conspiratorial as it might sound, it's the truth, and it's not like I'm some random shmuck, I have degrees/work in public health, my brother is a doctor in nyc and my dad is pharmacist. We've been fine without masks forever. Get sick, stay home. Scared of a hardly threatening virus, also stay home
