I fucking put it up, I'm so ashamed. I'm just not a " fight the establishment" type.

isn't it remarkable that all we have to do to show our opposition to them is show our nation's flag

Just wear it on your forehead. They never said HOW you have to wear it.

I would bet you're in California. They're insane right now with the masks. My advice: save yourself the headache and order online. Free delivery to your door.

Chicago is the same way. A couple miles out and very few give a shit

Get a gun. Go to the shooting range. You'll feel a lot different when you realize you have the power to point your finger and put holes in things.

Don't be ashamed of your weakness. Be better tomorrow. Shame holds us back. Move forward.

I wish I would've said no, what are you going to do about it. I hate myself for being weak.

I literally turned around and walked away from the target near me today. Money talks.

The grocery store is where I ended up knowing they wouldn’t get in my face over not wearing a mask. Was the only person not wearing one and I saw a woman pull hers down after she saw me.

Or...you could just take it off. Watch the Karen's head explode. Feel free for doing it. Feel perhaps normal again. And don't let a Karen control you and ruin your day. Karen's are bitches. They only like it when they control other people. Fuck em.

Drop it on the floor just so they have to pick it up and walk out the door. Kek

July 28, 1958. Shaoshan, China.

I was in the field for the 18th hour that day. Preparing the soil for the rice. An associate yelled at me because I had stopped for two minutes.

.

October 9, 1972. Siberia, Russia.

I was in the gulag kitchen mopping the floor. An associate yelled at me because the portrait of Stalin on the wall was crooked.

.

16 May, 2020. Bay City, Michigan.

Yelled at for not wearing a mask. When a couple of weeks earlier, would have been yelled at for wearing a mask. When a couple of months earlier, would have been arrested for wearing a mask in the store.

.

Great days in communist history.

How can they go from "the customer is always right" to "we are the frontline and we will command the customers to obey"?

Target went with the scammers and banned clean plastic bags?

Target also arrived with their "transgender bathroom policy".

Target seem to be way off target these days. Very sad.

Target went from magical trolley escalators in San Jose to now screaming at customers who are not wearing oxygen-blocking, possibly Chinese-infected, uncomfortable, not very effective masks.

Yelled at you? Don't think I'd be able to keep my cool in that situation.

8
SemperFree 8 points ago +8 / -0

Yeah, me either. But, I'm not wearing a mask period.

EffectiveTactics 7 points ago +7 / -0

Just give them the 80% off high five and move along.

3
snuggs316 3 points ago +3 / -0

dont' you mean 20%?

5
EffectiveTactics 5 points ago +5 / -0

80% off... it’s the deep discount high five.

Definitely not Florida I assume. Half the fucking employees don’t even take the shit seriously here. They’d get laughed at. Although I feel for ya man when this started a few Karens working at Target got real nasty with my wife about an exchange. Just real nasty attitude about it. I almost lost it.

I saw a video earlier where some lady yelled at a bike rider for not 'socially distancing'. The guy yelled back, in a British voice, 'Stupid bitch, shut up'. I believe that is the correct response in these times.

Anytime I have been bothered for not wearing a mask in public I have just met my harasser with extreme hostility and they back down immediately. In their own pussy worldview, they must associate a "person who is crazy enough to not wear a mask during super scary flu" with the same type of person who would curb stomp them without a second thought if they push too much.

I like to say "leave me alone or I'll cough on you"

I wonder if pointing and laughing would work just as well?

Dallas county Targets suck. I just stay out of Dallas county and everyone acts normal, no masks.

I went out of my way to a big Target about 30 minutes from where I live - it is a "Super Target" and therefore has a selection superior to other Targets. Maddeningly, it is in an upscale shopping area that was "annexed" by a large city some distance away. You know the deal, the core city of an area is falling apart, so the corrupt city government sucks in nice areas to bleed their tax base dry - all in an effort to prop up the failed central authority. Well, the idiot mayor issued an order that stores in the ever-expanding "city limits" must require all people in such stores to wear masks. This order was explained to me by the employee at the door who was tasked with monitoring everyone coming in. I turned and walked out while he was in the middle of a sentence.

honk honk. You're surrounded by clown world. Logic means nothing there.

You don't have to fight it all. They are selling trump masks on amazon. Buy one just to make your point if/when you're forced to wear them.

Register to vote, make your friends register to vote, and make sure everyone gets in to vote on time.

We can all only take so much stress. Lower your amount of news intake, spend more time with family/pets. Think about the things you'd like to do in life, and know that this crap won't last forever. We'll get through it.

We've got people in high places in office who are fighting for US! Never forget that. We can thank them with our continued support.

I don’t get the hostility towards masks. We have no idea what the workers’ circumstances are at home. People all over the country are enduring economic devastation. They could be taking care of elderly parents after moving back home.

Meanwhile they encounter hundreds or thousands of customers a day. They might fear bringing the virus home from work. Maybe it’s an irrational fear, but how does hostility from us assuage them? Why is such a hassle to put on a mask in their store?

Do you guys get mad at range officers for yelling at people with poor muzzle discipline, even if “the gun is unloaded”?

Masks are for increasing the margin of safety for people around you, like maintaining distance and washing hands. Might not save you from infection, but maybe you’ll get a smaller dose that’s more manageable for your immune system to mount a strong defense and avoid having to be hospitalized. They’re part of the way we can move forward despite all the uncertainties surrounding covid.

Masks are fine imo if you choose to wear them. Its not okay to be told to wear one. Its not okay to pretend it's a law.

1
the_MAGAlorean 1 point ago +1 / -0

The masks are more to protect others than ourselves. Our masks protect the employees.
