I read an article today describing how one of the tenets of evil is that they must announce their intentions, so as to justify to God that it was our inattention or acquiescence to their plans that gave them permission to then enact them.

But it struck me that Evil fails at a number of basic levels with this illogic. For one, for Evil to make any announcement is not good enough, it is contingent upon them to make that announcement commonly known and spread wide, else it is akin to a murderer plotting a murder and within a second of the act, announcing his intent to the victim while lunging at him, as if that is supposed to make his murder less Evil.

The other point I think they miss is that God was clear that if you harm the least of His, that you will be condemned. Well, the least of God's children are often not media savvy, not informed, and unaware of the announced plots of Evil.

Seems Evil has always got the losing hand, forever trying in vain to justify their behavior on the flimsiest grounds, almost as if they insult God by implying He is easily fooled or weak.

And what's with them believing they need to justify anything to a God they claim to not even generally believe in? Aren't they then just buying into the argument that leads to their undoing in the first place? For it would seem wiser of them to deny God altogether, if they want to be clean of condemnation.

Thoughts? Ideas?

I get worried when I start thinking about how foolish the devil is or how savvy I am to his tricks. That’s just another snare that he’s laying out for me. He is really good at what he does and without Christ I am defenseless. He is the Truth
