Very true. Scars aren’t necessarily a bad thing and I didn’t mean to convey otherwise. They help you to learn how to not get cut again but sometimes it can seem like almost everyone’s packing a knife and it’s hard to trust again, sadly. Just gotta figure out that perfect mix of tactful vulnerability/self-protection; and buy a gun, just in case.
