Also, releasing violent offenders because of covid is criminal in and of itself, and every official involved - even down to the jailer opening the door - should be prosecuted for perversion of justice.
That said, this meme is retarded. It's like saying, "why have speed limits if people die in car crashes even under the speed limit?!". Please don't share this meme. It's only going to weaken our position. We need to have better arguements than this.
Masks do help but they're not worth the damage they do to our society. Masks are about training the populous to trade freedom for the appearance of safety. Just because they do happen to make you more safe as well doesn't change this. But pretending like they don't do anything only makes you look stupid and distracts you and onlookers from the real problem behind masks.
I like taking my daughter to the store because she's three and points out every mask she sees. Then she asks me, (loudly because kids have no volume control) why they have masks. So I get the opportunity to make eye contact with the person and loudly explain to her that they're wearing it because they've been brainwashed into being irrationally afraid
