That's a good one, anyone can do it. I don't want to link to an ad but there is a neat neck gaitor that's a "sugar skull" from the nose down. One could just do the skull teeth on a regular mask.
So im a contractor, and i have quite a few seniors i do work for. Most of them interact with way more people than i do, and none has asked me to wear a mask. Until friday, and it made me think about it. One, if you are paying me to work in your house, you have every right to ask me, and so the woman on friday comes to the door wearing a mask. Which was odd, because we went to a home inspection together about a month ago, and they were bitching because the owner asked us to wear masks. So anyhow, i said i will gladly wear a mask to protect you, but you dont need one to protect me. So she took hers off a short time later. Stil, i have no problem with the absurdity of that, as i spend 8 hours going over a punch list of repairs virtually in every room in the house. I washed my hands numerous times, But i brought in all kinds of tools and materials, that there is no way to sanitize, so it wash wash hands, touch tools, touch house and repeat.
The real absurdity was the husband in his 70s is a heavy smoker, and and that one really bothers me. You obviously dont care about your health if you are a smoker, so why should I. Furthermore, just second hand smoke alone kills more people than wuflu, so he is actually harming my health with great certainty while there is almost no chance at all that i have any illness to pass on to them.
So, i would love this mask, to add another level of absurdity to the whole deal.
I've always been careful around old people during flu season. I don't understand why everyone is suddenly concerned about taking care of the elderly.... Does nobody have parents or grandparents anymore?
I am not careful around younger people, because they're pretty much all fat as shit and eat nothing but junk anyway... why care for you getting the boomer remover when your diet and lifestyle is almost guaranteeing you'll die early due to preventable reasons.
Yeah, one thing ive always told my customers, is if im sick, i wont come into their home. I tell them because it might happen at a bad time, and a big part of my job is setting expectations. But yeah, if i get your whole family sick, its not going to leave a good impression.
The flip side is, i dont have a problem working in your house if you are sick. I take precautions.
Exactly. I've always been a frequent hand washer after starting my first job in a kitchen at 16 years old.
If I'm sick and have to work, I keep my distance from other people, cover coughs/sneezes (as everyone should), and wash my hands more frequently than if not sick.
If other people are sick, I don't really care. I usually get sick maybe once a year and that'll range from a day or 2 of feeling shitty or a week of feeling REALLY shitty. I'm healthy and take care of myself, I don't mind a little exposure.
Old people? Ever since the swine flu, if I think I have something like the flu (which can be deadly to the people that are dying from covid) I avoid old people and anyone that I may even remotely suspect as being high risk. And if I have to go to the doctor, I actually wear a mask. They've had masks at entrance to doctors office for YEARS saying "If you have symptoms, wear a mask while in our office and wash your fuckin' hands"
My first tax paying job was at a white castle when I was 15 in the mid 90's. It was ran by a tyrannical women near 70 yrs old. She made us clean and scrub like it was an operating room. There was no standing idle, you either prepared food poor cleaned or you were fired.
However, one afternoon rush I was cooking/preparing sliders and sliced my hand moments before placing the patties and onions into the bun. I realized I was bleeding into the burgers.
I told the manager I was working alongside with that my hand was cut and I was bleeding into the burgers, her response "get this rush over and then get a bandaid".
I still feel disgusted decades later as I did not know better to stop everything and warn everyone. The manager ruined my outlook on life as I truly understood the importance of sanitation wirg food preparation, but it all means nothing if you'll let cooks bleed into the food they prepared. That was one of my first redpills and it permanently changed my outlook. I have never let others order me to preform any duty or functions in any capacity against my better judgement ever again since.
There was a lot of shit like that in the 90's. I started working in 2000 and remember all the training videos referencing that stuff. You have to stand up for what's right. Don't blame a company by a bad manager but judge the location if they didn't want to speak up about it.
Cleanliness became a big thing after all that, but knowing what I do now and looking back, How much or that was this outrage bullshit making the 1 in a million look like common practice?
That's what bugs me, all of my training as a cook in various types of restaurants and being in the navy deal with radioactive shit tells me everything about these precautions for covid are wrong.
"Secondhand smoke" is bullshit science that helped lay the groundwork for where we are today.
Smoking laws essentially say you or businesses can't make their own health decisions because it could be deadly for others. And it doesn't matter if a bar or restaurant and all its customers are OK with smoking. The laws still say they can't allow it. Sound familiar?
Sunlight kills the virus very quickly. If you want to sanitize your gear, leave it in bright sunlight for 5 min, turn it over for another 5 min, and voila! Clean gear.
For your consideration - I got the "Secret Michael Jackson" mask from here - tshirthell.com.
Fair warning - I've been buying t-shirts off this site for well over a decade but I've got an extremely warped sense of humor but this site takes it to a whole new level. Not for the squeamish.
Fans of the Pink Panther films (original, not Steve Martin's lame attempt to Sell er's Peter) will recognize these as being made by the Lo Kee garment company.

Honestly, I've been a little disappointed that there hasn't been more creativity like this. Seems like an occasion crying for memes.
There's also this one.

Like a lot of things don’t believe what you have been told , second hand smoke is another settled science that isn’t.

Not according to cdc, look it up yourself, prove me wrong. I already did.

So no link to buy?
I bet this was made by a leftist trying to make Trump look bad. Epic fail as usual.
is there a link to these?
SAUCE DAMMIT!
Shut up and take my money.
Reminds me of the Taiwan face masks with the Nationalist China (Taiwan) flag on it, fending off Communist Chinese buyers.

This is very lit. We should have all our mask producers print Winnie The Pooh on them to keep them out of the hands of enemies.

Thanks!
Omg. 😂😃😂
Ask China!
The idea is funny and great, but I do find it too authoritarian.
I guess in the context of already-mandatory mask wearing, this is OK... I just feel like this is "putting words in my mouth".
Did you mean to say "Ji-nha" ?
just wearing an american flag mask would drive liberals insane. they hate our flag
You have a business opportunity here!
That fry as fruck, round-eye.
Oh my Jeebus...What a goddamn beautiful sight.
I believe it’s spelled Chy-na.
Shut up and take my money.
