We've had record gun sales every year since Obama regime started talking about them, yet the official number never goes up. I'm thinking we've pumped the numbers up already.
I have a conspiracy theory that democrats don’t actually want to pass gun control measures, they propose legislation that would never pass, then hype up gun owners on that topic so they all go out and buy guns in record numbers. Then the legislation fails and that’s it. Or they let it pass in a place like San Francisco and call it a day.
I never was into guns, and never really thought about buying any until this last election. I bought 6 guns since then, and I got a CCW as that was required in IL. Also have thousands of rounds of ammo of various calibers for all my different firearms, bust mostly 556 rounds and 22lr (at $18 for a 550 round box, I always scoop one up when I go to the store).
r/GunDeals is probably the only sub that I still can visit without it being a political shill chamber. The mod team is great, if it’s anything that doesn’t do with gun stuff and a good deal, it’s immediately removed. I recommend everyone pay them a visit, some of my guns I bought on there for half of what you can find at Cabelas, and my local gun store had cheap $15 transfers.
I'm preparing to sue the FBI and Bass Pro Shop for letting my BGC expire without a decision after I paid for a handgun over 2 months ago. My 2A rights have been infringed. If you have had any delays longer than 3 days during this pandemic, you should join me in this.
The other part in the numbers game, if you have a CCW (As I do) they don't report your purchases, it is still kept on file at the store but to my knowledge, it doesn't get added to any government number.

Good point.

Well, quite a few are arms dealers, so maybe you're right and they just want the money. Fine with me- I'll buy.
r/gundeals is fantastic and the comments are really helpful, but you have to sort by new or you may not be buying anything
Lost all mine in a boating accident. Very tragic.
And each and every one of my 10000 rounds. Don’t forget the bullets!!!
Yep, bad for tyrants.
I hear to lightly used gun market will be fantastic!

A rifle behind every blade of grass.
And America accounts for only about 4% of the worlds population. Not bad at all.
The the most free god damn country on planet earth!
