Because he was never truly anti-Clinton. Many of us bought into his (and several other "Conservative" champions') lies over the years.

All of these anti-Trump, TDS suffering ex-conservative asshats were always Deep State controlled opposition.

From their reprehensible actions, I believe they acted as nothing more than spies embedded amongst true Conservatives.
