I'm newish to firearms. I don't get the "AR pistol" thing. I can't tell if it's a joke or being used as a term to make fun of what others have said.
Also, can you tell us a little more about it? What are the parts? Caliber(223/557/308)? How much did it cost to build? Any troubles building it? How does it shoot?
it’s classified as a pistol, but it’s really an SBR (short barrel rifle). It can be chambered in .223/5.56, 300 blackout, 7.62x39, .50 beowolf, and some 9mm ARs are AR15s that have an adapter for glock mags. They also make AR9s which is a different receiver if I’m not mistaken.

Following all federal laws and ATF rules, this is a PISTOL and not be any other name.
