I keep mine in the house because it's safer--but also safer for all the critters in the yard. They are perfectly designed apex predators but also so very cute and sweet and fuzzy and ouch!
I think they're all different with different personalities just like us. My cat is an inside cat but will go out with me when I grill or something, and never leave the area. A friend of mine rescued a squirrel and would bring it over, cat just smelled it and let it be.

I completely agree that it screws up the gun weight distribution. I can shoot just fine with it but would rather not. I only have it in there for home protection. It gives me a few extra bullets in an emergency where I might not have other magazines readily available. I much prefer the magazine that fits snugly in the base of the hand grip.

I will respect his identity! We had meezers for decades but then switched to rescuing lost ones and taming them--they make great pets!
