Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance? The use or possession of marijuana remains unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized for medical or recreational purposes in the state where you reside.

Regarding the ATF form, my medical doctor said he just waits to renew his card so that he can buy guns and technically not be lying. Abundance of caution and all that.

Question is not very clear. Unless you're actually smoking a fattie at the time, technically you're not doing anything unlawful at that time.

And if you're addicted to MJ, then it's more mental than physical. Not like you're going to die without weed.

But if you were to get busted with pot + a firearm it's an automatic charge enhancement. That stupid question on ATF 4473 needs to be done away with, it's been there since people called it the "devil's lettuce"

This is how government employees make money. Law is a racket.

My cousin's friend's roommate overdosed from marijuana and they died.

There's no such thing as being addicted to cannabis. It's non habit-forming.

And every pothead on Earth is damn lucky about that...we never know exactly when our dealer is going to have some ready. Could be a couple days could be a couple months. I've been waiting since last August

There may not be a chemical addiction, but don’t forget there are people that get addicted to cutting themselves with a razorblade. Mental addiction can happen to people with addictive personalities.

Yeah. People with addictive personalities.

But to the rest of us normal people it's non habit forming.

Former heroin addict here, dont doubt you one bit. But the wd from weed pales in comparison to alcohol or any opiate, amphetamine. Not even in the same universe, been thru it all I will add.

For every person made to vomit by weed, several million consume it with no nausea, or to treat nausea

Never had or met a single person who had a withdrawal symptom episode after stopping smoking herb.

Doesn't mean your symptoms aren't real; they're just rarer than cops at a mosque and nothing for the typical consumer to worry about

it may have physical withdrawals, but its very minor. For me, it was similar to just quitting caffeine. You get a lil anxious here and there but in no way was it hell. Just took a little conscious will to not smoke and within a week the anxiety went away.

CBHE is not a withdrawal symptom. It arises at point of use, not after cessation.

Eat a gram of concentrate. That's pretty effective for quitting. The rest is cold turkey from there. Nb4 you say some stupid bullshit. I don't give a fuck.

Yeah in the state I live in that's not an option.

Up to an oz is OK, 1oz to 15oz is a fine, more than 16oz is a felony, growing is jail.

I'll smoke it, I'm willing to be caught with small amounts of it, I'm even willing to risk bringing just short of a lb across state lines but I won't risk getting caught growing it.

If you hold a medical card for marijuana you are automatically disqualified in some states. Federal deregulation is what we need to push for.

Lol, yea well I barely smoke it, occasionally on a night or 2 a week. Its fascinating to grow though.

Shh! Don't say that!

Truly tho, enjoy it and shoot it much. Taurus gets a lot of hate and I've had my bad experiences with them. But they're pretty solid now imo. That particular one is a solid firearm and a great first pistol. I had one and it preferred 115 gr.

Any models you would suggest if someone is looking for a handgun ?

Revolver guy here, I have a Taurus Tracker 455 and a snubbie 905. I've never had a moments trouble with either, and the 455 is a real pleasure to shoot.

I would recommend a Smith and Wesson m&p shield 9mm. There's an older original m&p version and a 2.0 version. Go for the original if you wanna save a few bucks, the differences are almost zero. Its a great first handgun and is fun to shoot at range, good for home defense, great for concealed carry, all bases covered. Looks good, shoots good, great price. Perfect weapon to get you in the door
