I WANT to believe. BUT--if the death rate really is so low (lower than seasonal flu), then WTF happened in Wuhan? No country would be more reckless with its people and refuse to shut down than China, but THEY SHUT DOWN. 100%! There is more to this than we understand. Sweden didn't get this strain? (justthenews.com)

My theory is they knew something got out of the lab but not sure exactly what, so they took extreme measures.

Once they knew what they had, they couldn't admit it was human involved, so they needed the cover story (wet market) and had to keep up the scary images to deflect blame.
