The FBI used unverified and non-credible source material in the Steele Dossier (believed to be part of Russian misinformation) yet continued surveillance and requested renewal at least 3 additional times. Among the evidence the FBI cited a Yahoo News article but failed to disclose the article’s source material being directly from the Steele Dossier.

7. General Flynn, the incoming National Security Advisor for the Trump administration, had communications incidentally intercepted by the NSA during a phone call with the Russian Ambassador to the US.
Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) allows spying of foreigners in national security matters, permitting eavesdropping and other techniques to gather intel. Instances where American citizens are on the other end of the gathered communication intel requires FISA court warrant order to "unmask" such Americans (as such communication is protected by the 4th Amendment.) Details of whom the citizen is and details of the communications are protected and confidential and the "unmasking" may be granted from the NSA to intelligence officials or other government officials. Details and identity of subject are considered highly classified.

Investigation discusses DNC attributing the server hack to location in Moscow, RU while also asserting that maleware and other servers were hosted in Arizona were deployed by Russia’s GRU. Despite use of VPN and servers having infiltrated from around the globe, report asserts Russian interference, citing the DNC as its source from page 42:

Here is just a fraction of the timeline and some of the most important details and documents regarding the cover-up centered around false Russian misinformation being used by the FBI and the outgoing Obama administration to spy on and sabotage the incoming Trump administration. The Democrats, Obama Admin and FBI tried eveything to attempt to overthrow Trump and ruin everyone around him.
ALL sources are from government documents, court filings and redacted/declassified materials. Media news reporting is also linked to support documents and time-line.
I’ve supported every claim with evidence for reference and used left-leaning sources among the major “credible” news outlets because I don’t want anyone to claim we’re citing biased pro-Trump media for sourcing.
Please feel free to add or let me know of any errors. I know I couldn’t have possibly covered anywhere near everything but I think this is a decent starting point.
My goal is to have a community source of reference to share with anyone (both left and right) to begin to explain how insane this corruption is and why we can’t POSSIBLY allow the Democrats to gain any more power going into the elections.
Breaking the Leftist-Hivemind is nearly impossible but at least a compilation of links and sources they are comfortable with is a good place to start. If I convert just one Lefty or independant or at the very least discourage them from going to the polls to support the corrupt DNC, it was worth it. They tried to beat us by destroying Trump, we can’t let them do it at the ballot box with lies and more fraud and allowing the truth (which is complicated) to go unexplained. Any democrat gains in either the Senate or House is another opportunity for these people to end our movement.
**SUMMARY
Following the hack of the Democratic National Committee server where sensitive documents were published on Wikileaks [1] , DNC representatives refused proper FBI investigation, instead hiring security firm CrowdStrike to investigate the various attacks [2]. The FBI, without sufficient evidence or a proper investigation, attributed the breach to Russian actors citing CrowdStrike and other unsubstantiated claims to confirm Russia as being the source of the breach. This claim of Russia being the source of the server cyber hacks along with the allegations in the Steele Dossier, paid for by the Clinton Campaign/DNC [5] was then leveraged by the FBI to spy on the Trump campaign and associates. [6] [7] [9] [10]
Throughout the course of numerous investigations, the FBI, Obama officials and many others began leaking details to the news media [4] [6] [8] [20] damaging Trump, his associates and ultimately using the investigation of a Russian conspiracy to surveill, prosecute and incarcerate many of Trump's allies, campaign staff and his former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn [10] [10B] [12] [13]. The FBI, through abuse of the FISA court, prosecuted and investigated those involved by subverting their constitutional rights. [6] [7] [18]
Through subcontractors [5] and various leaks to the media [4] [6] [8] [20] keeping the Russian conspiracy alive, Democrats widely accused the President of colluding and conspiring with Russia, abusing his power to investigate his political opponent Joe Biden and other high crimes and misdemeanors. Democrats used these investigations to mislead the public, damage the President and ultimately attempt to remove him from office through impeachment. [14] [15] [16] [17]
The claims of Russian conspiracy, Russian hacks and abuse of power regarding Ukraine have been either disproved or led to the President's ultimate acquittal from impeachment charges. Crowdstrike had also admitted to having no evidence of Russia being the culprits of the initial hacks and DNC document dump to Wikileaks. [2] [3B] [17] [19]
The DOJ ultimately dismissed it's case against General Michael Flynn, Trump's former National Security Advisor due to FBI misconduct after the Inspector General's findings. [6] [9] [10B] [18]
As new evidence has emerged it appears the highest levels of the Obama administration, the Democrat Party, DNC, and/or Clinton campaign may have coordinated with the FBI to damage Trump and/or remove him from office. [8] [10B] [17] [20] **

If the documents are authentic, they basically establish Hillary Clinton attempting to rig the Democratic primaries against Bernie Sanders and being a craven pawn of Wall Street. The defense of the day is: "We were hacked, and these fake documents are everywhere!" This is also the point at which the media's self-interest kicks in - "Fake documents" means they media collectively doesn't need to actually investigate the hints of rampant media collusion, etc. Note that all the key actors are "somehow" the same key actors in investigating for Hillary's emails and John Podesta's "hack".
