Love how useless journos get laid off is seen as a bad thing (by other journos) but millions of people out of work is something that isnt really talked about.

See, you just don't grok their narcissism. Those 36 million Americans without a job, myself now included, well we don't count, at all. Because we are not them. To these Vice journalists, all that matters is them. Everything in their life, from the clothes they were, to where they live, to the friends they have, are all accessories to their own lifestyle choices. These people live in a movie, starring them, most are just background extras, you and I, so we don't matter, unless we fit the criteria of a villain, like saying "Hey, I think Trump is actually a pretty good President" or "Hey, being White is okay" then we get billing but only because we reflect back upon them how HOLY AND VIRTUOUS they are.

It's going to be fun as time goes on. Either the economy rebounds quickly and we all go "well that sucked" and move on. Or things go from suck to worse and these people learn their movie just became a dystopian post-apocalyptic horror movie.

And they all of a sudden have no plot armor as the loot and rape gangs systematically work their way down the block towards their Williamsburg loft.

You just described living in California to a T. Go to church, meet tons of normal people leading awesome lives. Go ANYWHERE else and it's exactly as you described. A bunch of narcissists starring in their own delusional Netflix special.

This is how I ended up converting to eastern orthodoxy. A gymbro and I were talking. I was lamenting modern day society and how I felt disconnected. He invites me to his church.

No longer disconnected. Still an uncouth son-of-a-bitch, but I no longer feel like the world has lost its mind. It's always been this way and it is this way for a reason.

In a different way this is how I found Calvinism. I can't understand God or why He allows stuff to happen but I trust in Him because there was clearly a plan from the Old Testament into the New Testament.

I don't put any faith in people or government or even most church leaders. I trust in Jesus.

I think they'd be left alone. Even drunken rape gangs have standards.

Those cucks would love to experience first hand the strength, power, and vibrancy of diversity. And their shit is getting looted. If they survive it only gets worse because when the Right Wing Safety Squads start sorting things out and setting things back to right we are going to remember who brought us to ruin.

And then their movie becomes a Cormac McCarthy screenplay

I wanted to add my two cents: you write with some amazing imagery. It's enjoyable to read your comments! Thanks.

Where's the nearest recruiting center?

Well, the journalists being laid off is of course a bad thing... for their agenda. I mean, without the 'journalists', how will people know how to think and feel?!
