He is quite smart, but seems incapable of either processing or accepting the level of corruption in the world. That part is very strange to me. For example, he believes that Epstein killed himself. The part where right as Epstein was killing himself, all the guards fell asleep and all the security cameras broke down somehow doesn’t phase him. What is that? Just total denial? Naïveté? How could anyone honestly believe all those coincidences just happened at once?
