Note the way this disease has been counted. Beware that this is exactly how the numbers are going to work with mail-in voting.

Should only pay attention to hospitalizations and deaths. And co morbidities associated with each stat.

The only number they report, even on local news, is the new cases.

Not recoveries

Not deaths

Just new because that number is only one going up.

The graphics department on our local station puts colored dots on the state map. Let’s say that Reagan county has 6 total deaths so far.

The county is 90% covered when the population is in the thousands. 6 isn’t 90%

The visual makes it look like the entire state is infected when it’s like 0.004% or similar.

The headlines were rampant against Florida after 1200+ new cases on Saturday. Oh ya, we also tested more than any other day, and about 2-3 times the previous testing. So ya, numbers went up, but percent positive tests dropped 2 percent. And those spikes were mainly due to a couple prisons.

Ya, here it was county jail and a school for wayward girls (no kidding). They're 2/3 of the 260-odd positive cases (in a population of 232k) and 4 deaths. Lots of under 50 yos.

Through clever and constant application of propaganda, people can be made to see paradise as hell, and also the other way round, to consider the most wretched sort of life as paradise. - Hitler
