There are no consequences for doing crimes, up to and including treason, if you're a democrat. Conversely, if you're a republican, there are very real consequences for fake made up crimes that didn't happen.

We have a second amendment, and we should not put up with this.

I think this is a head fake, a feign, a ruse, whatever you want to call it to put them at ease until the justice hammer swings down.

15
shtpostinalotofmemes 15 points ago +15 / -0

The problem is everyone always feels that way, and nothing ever happens.

Instead of zooming in on this event and your reasons for thinking that the justice smack-down is just around the river bend, zoom out and look at all the other times pedes claimed the smackdown was coming, and it never did.

As usual, I hope I'm wrong, but I'd bet $$$ that I'm not. SAD!

The main thing to focus is not that Biden/Obama are not slated for charges at this time, but others are. Without a support network, minions, and allies, they are weak, feckless, and disempowered. The humiliation of seeing their empire falling away from them like a building hit by a 8.2 earthquake is worth it. I would prefer seeing these bastards sweat, lie, and try to spin things with worse and worse logic to the day they are frog walked.

Trump is America's President, and so far he has done nothing but exceed expectation. When he says, this will never happen again to another Prseident or the American people, I believe him.

I kind of like the slow erosion, although I still think letting piranhas erode them a little faster would be deserved.

Did you read what AG Barr said?

“As to President Obama and VP Biden, whatever their level of involvement, based on the information I have today, I don't expect Mr. Durham's work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man. Our concern...is focused on others."

The "information I have today" is quite relevant, that doesn't mean something will not be given to him tomorrow or later on. Also, not expecting it to happen, does not mean it won't.

Spicer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Let me go check out what Q says

1
Choctaw 1 point ago +1 / -0

it's the same thing

2
Spicer 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sorry I was being sarcastic, at this point I believe Barr is another deep state hack until he proves me wrong.

1
Choctaw 1 point ago +1 / -0

No worries at all, we're here to discuss and share. A couple of things about Barr, it may or may not change your mind about him. The man was retired, he is independently wealthy by his own investing. The reason he is AG is simply b/c Trump asked him to take the job.

What a shock! The people who broke laws will not face justice. Who saw that coming?

People who broke no laws and people who are targets of criminal activity (investigations and punishments used against political opponents) faced swift justice. With charges dropped and investigation proven to be invalid, Gen. Flynn is still in court, can't get free of the system.

However, people who broke laws face nothing.

iIndianaJones 14 points ago +20 / -6

Okay. Don’t get all bent out of shape. Let the chips fall and see where it goes.

14
whiskey_shitz 14 points ago +15 / -1

Exactly. If he did have any knowledge that obama or biden were under investigation he'd be nuts to blab about right now. Theres also a good chance that if Obama and Biden were under investigation the investigators would take care not to talk to Barr about it in order to keep the case clean.

7
iIndianaJones 7 points ago +8 / -1

Exactly. The knee-jerkers need to chill the fuck out. We'll find out if we are operating as a two-tier justice system. I thought one thing Barr said was very, very interesting. Not every Abuse of Power is a Federal Crime. That's a VERY interesting comment right there.

6
whiskey_shitz 6 points ago +7 / -1

Yep. I think there's a shill mob pushing the "we can never win" sad sack posts.

Barr didn't say anything definitive. He just didn't show his hand...as anyone paying attention should expect.

4
iIndianaJones 4 points ago +5 / -1

We see that. It's the group that freaks out when they don't get what they want right away. Barr plays everything cool. Look at the last month. It's just getting started,

4
whiskey_shitz 4 points ago +4 / -0

It seems pretty likely that this wasn't just a couple bad apples. It was likely a large group of conspirators with close ties to major US media corporations among other assets.

This wont be quick...it cant be.

4
iIndianaJones 4 points ago +4 / -0

Correct. Another BIG TICKET ITEM that people are forgetting, it wasn't just our intelligence agencies and the former administration, this was a network of friendly countries, including spies and agencies involved. This is a YUGE scandal. This is not a 5 month dive. This is a major scandal. People need to just relax. Justice is slow.

4
whiskey_shitz 4 points ago +4 / -0

Totally agree. I dont know where the people crying right now are coming from.

Maybe they're new or just haven't been paying attention....or maybe they're sock puppets.

I don't get all of the Barr hate. He seems to me like a guy who really, really cares about the rule of law. So he is doing everything absolutely by the book, which is a slow, drawn-out process. But this will do two things:

  1. It will re-establish that "by the book" is how things are done in the DOJ
  2. It will somewhat mute any criticism against whatever actions they take

I know we're all tired of being patient, but I really think things are moving the right direction now.

15
NormaJeanRocks [S] 15 points ago +16 / -1

Not even hating on the guy, just pissed off with the fact that Biden is literally ON VIDEO bragging quid pro quo and nothing happens, in fact he could possibly be POTUS. It is insane

5
altaG12 5 points ago +5 / -0

I agree completely. We live in such a microwave world where people want results immediately but it doesn't always work like that.

4
iwasbuiltforcomfort 4 points ago +5 / -1

people want results immediately but it doesn't always work like that.

Hypothetical. If the FBI had proof that you fabricated and knowingly submitted false evidence to a court, how long do you believe it would take for the FBI to come and arrest you?

Honestly, I would like to know how long of a time period you think it would take for them to come for YOU, not someone else?

2
altaG12 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm sure they would do it immediately. But I'm not part of the protected swamp class that has multiple ways of getting me clear of the charges. Taking that into account, they will need to handle case differently. Once charges are finally filed, I sure don't want to see them dropped and the criminals let go.

1
iwasbuiltforcomfort 1 point ago +2 / -1

I'm sure they would do it immediately.

Of course they would. They would arrest any of us immediately with only circumstantial evidence of crimes.

The proof of crimes has been in the PUBLIC DOMAIN for 3 YEARS now. Barr has been the AG for more than a year now. Still no arrests. Barr is going to arrest some people but you just heard it straight from the horses mouth, the higher ups and 0bama himself have just been given government immunity for every and all future crimes.

Just for reference purposes about protected swamp class type people you should know even Madoff was arrested the next day after the authorities were given evidence:

Madoff intended to take a week to wind up the firm's operations before his sons alerted authorities. Instead, Mark and Andrew immediately called lawyers. When the sons revealed their father's plan to use the remaining money to pay relatives and favored investors, their lawyers put them in touch with federal prosecutors and the SEC. Madoff was arrested the following morning.

Just resembles too closely when Comey recommended no prosecution for Hillary.

All this does is give the media and dems this phrase to run with, "TRUMPS OWN AG SAYS OBAMA AND BIDEN DID NOTHING WRONG, TRUMP SHOULD STOP TWEETING ABOUT IT!"

1
IncredibleMrE1 1 point ago +2 / -1

In February, Bill Barr was HAPPY that Roger Stone was convicted and called that prosecution "righteous."

A prosecution stemming from an investigation that Barr himself has now repeatedly said was baseless.

These two things are mutually exclusive.

If Bill Barr truly cared about the rule of law, he would have already had the DOJ drop the Stone case.

Barr just hired more prosecutors and I have heard on Bongino or Gorka that a different prosecutor is looking into the Obama/Biden stuff. There is still an open investigation into Clinton Emails and from what the optics look like most likely Fast and the Furious is being looked at again. Bengahzi as well.

“As to President Obama and Biden, whatever their level of involvement, based on the information I have today, I don’t expect Mr. Durham’s work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man. Our concern of potential criminality is focused on other individuals

information has only started to come out rest of the information is to come over the next few weeks.

Another thing, Barr and Durham just expanded their investigative team and resources over the last month. So, to anyone thinking this will result in nothing, I think you might be eating crow in the end. For those of you thinking you will see Obama whisked away in cuffs on CNN, better keep rubbing that lamp. I want Brennan. I want that bastard drug out of his home in his Communist tight-ass undies and the light from the camera shining on his fat, fucking, face.

6 months left, November is not a guarantee. No one will be held accountable.

It's our Ovaltine moment presented by Barr.
