I don't think any such studies exist for anything related to COVID-19. Those take considerable time and money to setup, plus even more time and money to perform. The only information we have about COVID-19 is from less-than-ideal sources and methods.

The context here was very important: The comment I replied to was calling out OP for not linking any double-blind studies showing the effectiveness of HCQ against COVID-19 and how nothing else matters except those. I pointed out that we don't have double-blind studies for anything related to COVID-19, so asking for it in regards to HCQ is patently ridiculous.
No shilling here, the hysteria over HCQ -- despite its very long history of safe use -- is another hilarious example of media TDS. I swear, if Trump said drinking water was a good idea, we'd have wall to wall coverage on the danger of water allergies and how the president's comments have put those people in immediate danger.
