Funny story about that. So back in the day (over a decade ago) I was attending university at a campus that had a bunch of wonderful sciences departments. We even had a science library! It was wonderful. Anyways, around finals some arts majors (who naturally were done with their final exams... which consisted of...?) decided to bring cheer to the students who were obviously worn out from studying. How did they plan to do this? With a flash mob of course.
So, no shit, there we were, balls deep in our organic chemistry textbooks (or something similar). The majority of us were running on caffeine, amphetamines or other wakefulness drugs like modafinil, cheap food. Some folks were sleeping in the library "reading rooms" - many students were pre-med so this was extremely important to them. Anything less than an A could spell disaster for many of the students.
Some student got up, started singing. Another joined in. Then the other arts students joined the clusterfuck that was this flash mob. Next thing you know, you hear,
SHUT THE FUCK UP, SOME PEOPLE HERE HAVE REAL EXAMS TO STUDY FOR SO THEY CAN GET REAL DEGREES! HOLY FUCK!!!!
That, as well as the time that some arts student (and his media tube) were mistaken for a school shooter, were two events I will never forget.
Oh it was memorable, that's for sure. We also had an incident where one of the campus buses crashed into the shopping center attached to the student union.
Also, the Muslim Student Association backed student president was impeached.
After I left some kid set a dorm room on fire "using a butane torch to light a water pipe"
