This "amicus" has already judged the case in an op-ed, too. Not to mention the judge randomly calling Flynn a "traitor."

Writ of mandamus when??

This is beyond bullshit. Amicus Briefs are briefs. Period. They don't get witnesses, they don't get oral arguments, they get to submit written briefs. They are "friends of the court", not and I repeat ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT participants in the case.

And that is assuming that any of this was legitimate in the first place. I challenge anyone to find an example of someone being held in contempt of court for choosing to alter their plea after discovering EXCULPATORY EVIDENCE. This has never happened, for very good reason.

This judge doesn't need to be impeached, he doesn't need to be censured, or disbarred. He needs to be imprisoned for life. Barring that, he needs to be forcibly removed by patriots in DC.

This is nearly as bad as the coup. The coup plotters were trying to overthrow an elected president. This guy is trying to overturn the entirety of Article III.

They were also deemed unconstitutional by a 9-0 SCOTUS 2 weeks ago.

How many men have been mistreated like Flynn that we do not know about.

Almost every court seems to operate like divorce court.

Ok, so now what? What's the next play?

I'm not a lawyer but, I assume Sidney Powell will need to take this to a higher judge or court. I know this is a federal judge but, if the Supreme Court already ruled on this then, there must be SOMETHING or all hope is lost.

I wonder if their play is to fuck it up so much, that the Supreme Court will be forced to comment on it.

Then the media will spin it as Trump's "conservative" judges letting Flynn off the hook, and paint Trump and the supreme court as corrupt as they have been doing with Neil and Brett.

They were probably hoping Trump would pardon, so they could Reee in the media. But he didnt because Flynn won through the letter of the law. No pardon was necessary.

But they can't have it appear that way to the public. They can't have the public feel any wrong doing occurred with Obama. So this way it still kind of looks like Flynn got off in some way because of Trump, even if it was indirectly.

Technically (almost) everyone who makes a plea deal is guilty of perjury. Part of the allocution of the guilty plea in many jurisdictions requires that the defendant state (or answer) that they are making the plea absent any deals or promises made.

It's just one of the fucked up part of our legal system.

Technically, you have to say that you aren't under coercion. Except that for some reason, the people at the next table telling you that they are going to lock you up for the next 371 years if you don't take the deal doesn't count as coercion.

Sydney is way ahead of that. You need to read her submission from January of this year. It is document number 160 in the docket

Don't let the 200+ page count scare you. The argument itself is only 40 or 50 pages - the rest is supporting documentation, which you can skip.

The problem that Sullivan is trying to solve is that the court record does not include enough facts for a guilty plea, and neither the prosecution nor the defense are willing to attempt to establish them. So, the extra judge is coming in, which is very irregular, and he wants to assert new facts from the bench, which is far beyond irregular and deep into "Bro, do you even judge?" territory.

Bro but like...He is trying to charge contempt over a basic process....

Like that's it, it's over. Judicial misconduct, you blew it. Throw the case out. Hang the faggot judge let's move on.

Judge Sullivan used to be an outstanding, "by the book", law-abiding, well-respected Judge. IDK what happened. I was so glad he was thecJudge who replaced Contreras in the Flynn case back in 2017. He was actually the "hero" of Sidney Powell's book, "Licensed to Lie", about Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens set-up, destruction, and finally vindication. I didn't watch that closely, but around alll of a sudden, around December of 2019, Judge Sullivan flipped. He verbally attacked Sidney Powell and accused her of plagiarism, I believe, and asked the prosecutors in open Court if they had considered charging Flynn with Treason, although he retracted it afterward, but . . . anyway, something happened to this guy so his stellar prior ethical, upstanding reputation as Judge has been shattered (for many at least. I am sure some in a certain party allegedly think it is all going perfectly tho).

Deep State get to him?

SMH. Hard to believe with that Judge, but what else could it be? Sad.

I agree, this is all kinds of nonsense. How long ago did they set this up?

I understand that some of the people involved were close to Mueller's team...

We really need to research the heck out of that, I'm sure there's been a backup plan here for a long time after seeing this.

I just commented elsewhere here abt this, and IDK for sure, but around December, 2019, the Judge seemed to flip from upstanding Judge w/ excellent reputation, to making accusations to Flynn and his attorney for unbelievable reasons (her plagiarism, him Treason), in open court! Just a seemingly psycho turn on both of them. So he must have gotten "the word" around that time? And I doubt he was given much of a choice, so I am guessing perhaps a life and death/family member type choice, which is allegedly what happened to Chaffetz years ago. (Someone who was close to the campaign of the opponent of a Senator in Utah told me about that, & I don't think she had any reason to say it, if it wasn't true).

Odd how that seems to coincide with the exposure of the prosecutorial misconduct...

Yeah, that feels like a setup to me. Now to prove it...
