Do you think they have a hope of putting Flynn behind bars?

They are drawing this out. The question is why are they drawing this out? What does resolving this later get them?

That's probably right. It also prevents flynn from speaking publicly, and maybe from reassuming any office. I wonder if there are other benefits we are missing.

While I agree that’s probably the ploy, wouldn’t it be in Flynn’s best interest to just start speaking publicly? The worst the judge can do to him is find him in contempt of court and put him in prison for that, which Trump can then just pardon him for and the entire charade is over.
