That's because it's a retrospective study. Their clinical studies they like to point to as having more weighted evidence were designed specifically such that HCQ would fail (IMO).

There's exactly 1 clinical study that I'm aware of that Dr. Seheult talked about where they were test HCQ prophylactically or early in the disease process. I'm expecting it will support the retrospective analysis that early dosing halts or reverses the disease process.

But, as with the retrospective study, I would expect it will probably be swept under the rug as well.

If you ask RA or Lupus patients that take this they will tell you they rarely get colds or flu.

Medicare/CMS was supposed to do a retrospective study of all of the Medicare/caid records about people with diagnosis of Lupus and RA and getting HCQ to compare with new diagnoses of these same people getting COVID 19. That's been over a month ago that it was announced - I would expect that would come out pretty soon since the information is already in hand through the billing system.
