A predecessor used to tell of having malaria and I couldn't figure out by the remembered history where he caught it. I was stuck on the Phillippines but the dates didn't match. Turns out it was the Canal Zone. Duh! I'm sure he would have loved to have taken HCQ had it been invented in the early 20th century. It's a shame that it began use in1945, almost too late for WWII.
