I wondered about this when it was disclosed that the President's valet had tested positive, then Steven Miller's wife who works in the WH herself, and then we learned Ivanka's personal assistant tested positive. It seems kind of odd that people with such close proximity to the President and his family came down with this, especially because I live nearby and don't know anyone who has the virus.
Exactly. I have a son living in midtown Manhattan and he doesn't know anyone who has gotten the virus. He was one of the last people in his office who was still working at the office before the complete shutdown. His company is large, and nobody there got it. He also was going to a gym there, and none of his gym friends got it. Now it's possible they had it, and didn't know they had it, but if that's the case, we shouldn't be shut down. The elderly, immunosuppressed, and people with other comorbidities should be cautious, but not everyone else.
