Computers were invented in England by an Englishman, Alan Turing.

The Internet was a massive collaborative project, but the WWW as we know it was developed in Switzerland under the lead of Tim Berners-Lee—an Englishman.

Generation of electrical current was invented by Faraday, an Englishman. DC power by Edison, an American of English decent, which lost out to AC power by Tesla, a Serb.

Internet was made by the US military, gtfo.

Computers weren’t made by Turing either, the first digital computer was made by the US navy. The first PC was made by an American.

I mean, the HTTP packet protocol was invented by Lee as well. How exactly was the internet invested by the US military when everything that makes the internet the internet was invented by an Englishman? The fact is that lots of countries had basically exactly what America had, as well as universities. That doesn't make them the internet.

Computer science & computing was obviously invented by Turing. You're changing the goalposts & now saying that "digital computers" and PCs were invented in America. That's great, but it's kicking the can down the road—you could just as easily say laptops were invented in X, tablets were invented in Y. None of that has anything to do with the origins though.

If you want to go down a rabbit hole Turing didn’t invent a computer, he invented the concept of the modern computer. There isn’t one person you can say invented the computer because the thing went through a billion variations.

US military literally invented the internet. The World Wide Web is not the internet. Case closed.

Well, the same can then be said of the internet. Frankly, most major universities in the western world had local intranets—this concept was borrowed by the US military. Frankly, most other armed forces had something similar around the same time, including the USSR. Saying the internet was "literally invented" by the US military is retarded on its face.

In any event, the protocols for transferring data between computers (which is the enabling technology behind the internet) was invented by an Englishman, again.

And if we want to get really technical, almost every American inventor is ethnically English or Scottish. National divisions are pretty meaningless when 80% of the relevant information that makes you, you, is genetic (the remainder being cultural). Stick an Englishman in America, Argentina, or South Africa & you basically get the same result. Stick a Guatemalan in America and, well, you get something different.
