You don't have the wisdom or independence to actually "choose" much at 17. Typically it's where the others go that you go. Again, stop blaming the KIDS. Blame the rotten adults that led them down this road. It's just like drugs. My old granny knew the score back in the '70s. She said, "We should stop blaming the kids and blame the adults that sell the drugs to them and run the drug rings." Granny was right. And I'm right about this.
