It's an accurate book title, because Michell and Barack Obama's whole life story was manufactured, so they indeed did "become" themselves. They were handed a script, the entire new media got behind it and ushered them into the White House with a fantasy.
I'm seriously considering ending my audible subscription because they insist on recommending this to me every time I open the thing.
I mostly buy ancient history books with profiles in corruption being the only modern political book I've purchased. What about that screams I want to read big Mike's ghostwritten diatribe I don't know.
