"average people" don't concern themselves with the 0.00001% of edge cases in casual conversation.

That's what we're having here - casual conversation. If you're going to mandate that every statement include an uncountable number of caveats to cover every potential edge case, then nobody will be able to complete a sentence without collapsing from hypoxia.

You're being rather dickish for "casual conversation."

Any reasonable person would likely want to know what the risks are before taking a medication. To suggest that there are none, or that they somehow only impact .0001% of those that take HCQ is just asinine. When people present HCQ like it is without risks it immediately makes them look misinformed and calls into question their credibility on the matter. That's the case with a massive number of medications, I'm not suggesting anything controversial here.

HCQ is not without risks, and should not be treated that way. THAT SAID, I still advocate for its use in testing COVID19 and autoimmune issues. It works. I think I'm being pretty reasonable here, so chill with the mean girls shit.
