How is a charge of PERJURY being discussed in this set of circumstances? Surely, the judge can cite an individual for contempt of court. But can he bring NEW CHARGES? Wouldn't the DOJ have to file a new charge???
He mad it up. Article 7 allows due process to allow a defendant to change their plea. It’s not perjury because it’s a process right. He’s just a fucking asshole deep state fag.
It isn't. This is something he invented out of whole cloth. They hope to get Trump to pardon him and they've already said that they want to impeach Trump, again, over this.
So they're probably playing to the cameras right now. This has NO legal basis and anyone who says otherwise is scamming you. That said, there's no shortage of idiots who will make up some nonsense about what they think the law should be here and try to sell it. It's kind of what lawyers do.
