My grandfather was one of the most fit people I’ve known. He was in the Navy for a long ass time and had a gym in his garage that he worked out in every single day. Aside from smoking he was arguably pretty healthy. He did eat Wendy’s every day. The hamburgers were his favorite and he would run into town to get it for lunch, run errands, and then bring lunch home for him and my grandmother. As soon as he turned 70 it was like a switch was flipped off and his metabolism stopped working. Within a year or two he easily packed on 50 pounds.
We all have a life to live and are heading to the same end destination. What business is it of anyone to worry about the vehicle we choose to travel in?
He obviously feels good enough to get out there and play some tennis, and that is better than a great many his age!
