The problem with Ahmad Arbery is that he was just a loser. He probably was not a violent criminal, certainly not a criminal mastermind.
However, he suffered from a particular type of lifestyle, a lifestyle which led him to have multiple interactions with police officers. Eventually, he had an interaction with a sort of posse, and he lost his life. If he had a real job, and was busy being an adult, none of this would have happened.
Cultural Marxism is helping it spread elsewhere now as well, eroding love of country and community among impressionable privileged youths: who then label the working class as stupid ignorant bigots right up until they pay taxes and actually make something of their lives. The rest vote D until death (and after) and never leave the safe bubble of cultural marxism that fostered their privileged disdain towards "dumb" dissenters, forever despising those working-class rubes whose livelihoods aren't subsidized by taxpayers or an impossibly stable market of nearly impossible to discharge student loans that would collapse the price of college if it weren't artificially propped up.
Ghetto culture ultimately led to his demise. Always escalate when your respect is challenged. Handle disrespect with escalating violence. Two white guys want to arrest you? Attack them. Charge them and try to kill them. Get revenge on the guy (Greg McMichael) who put you away. Get whitey. Theft, drugs, rape, and murder are just part and parcel of the ghetto culture.
Eh, kinda. I agree that it wasn't wise to try to stop him, especially considering his race in this political and social climate. But what actually led to his demise was charging a man with a shotgun.
The father/son should be charged with something, but I don't believe it should be murder. Manslaughter and something else for negligence maybe. Those two were idiots, but they didn't plan to kill anyone that day.
You're right though. Dumbass kid shouldn't have charged someone with a gun. What the fuck did he think was gonna happen?
They did everything legally. Disagree with the law, but they legally tried to stop someone they suspected of burglary. They legally had their guns with them. When attacked, they legally protected themselves.
It's a shit situation and no one is innocent on either side, but... it would be a miscarriage of justice to charge them because they may not have had the best of intentions.
They did call the cops. Look up the leaked 911 call of Greg McMichaels when in pursuit. He was on the phone with dispatchers when Ahmed charged Travis, who kept his gun lowered until Arbery tried to take it away. The neighborhood was being burglarized. Ahmed was caught scoping out the constructed home, a common place for theft of tools and copper.
What immediately led to his demise was escalation and attempting to take a gun away from And armed man. The first shot indicates Arbery pulled the gun towards himself, discharging the round into his wrist.
Ghetto culture and his personal choices led to his demise.
No, citizens should stop crimes or arrest criminals if they are able. That is our duty and responsibility as free citizens.
When I was a kid, men would tackle purse snatchers on sidewalks. Now if some similar crime happens, everyone stands back, and the criminals get away.
Remember, our nation is different than all others. Here the People are the ultimate authority. We ensure that the country is the way it should be . That's not just a bunch of words. We need to step up to it every day.
Not really. Nothing they did was illegal. And it was 'Maud who charged at them. He got himself killed by doing something stupid. But I'd imagine doing stupid things was a theme throughout his life.
I wonder if the police can release the GPS tracks of his phone so that we can all get a better understanding of his jogging path. I have heard of unconventional workouts, so maybe this was some new trend emerging. Streets and sidewalks are very boring, so jogging through construction sites and Walmarts may have been just a change of scenery.
According to his parents once they saw footage of him entering English's home, he was "simply looking for a drink of water." Which is totally reasonable. I often invade people's homes when out running because I'm just thirsty and want to drink from some unfinished piping that probably doesn't even have the water turned on yet. How do they know that he entered the home looking for water when they weren't there and aren't inside his head? Well, uhh...
According to the research S Molyneux has presented in his videos Arbery was arrested in (iirc) 2013 for bringing a handgun to a school basketball game. Not a high IQ individual
Not a very smart individual. His lifestyle would have led him to do more and more bad acts the more he got away with stealing, destroying property and taking from others. He won’t be lost.
I think the Conservative (Hodge) Twins had a pretty interesting observation. He was jogging 12 miles away from his home? To get back home, that's like a marathon!
turns out it was more like 2 miles, the first 12-16 miles estimate was from the center of the area, not from his home, it was an estimation, because they didn't know where he lived exactly, slightly more plausible, but there was footage of him in the house until 2 times or someone who could have passed as him
which is why they had cameras in the home in the first place
Leftist policies have created an underclass with broken households and bribe them with handouts for votes. Meaning work for this underclass has been shipped off to other countries or illegals in America. Propaganda teaches them to hate police and believe that everyone has a hood in the closet. Black Americans need to take the red pill and escape the Democratic Matrix that farms human lives for their votes.
Ahmad is accountable for his choices and paid the ultimate price for them. Let’s keep on making America great, including for our black Americans. Hopefully more of them take the red pill and disconnect from an organization that provides them with a life of misery in exchange for their vote.
Black Americans need to take the red pill and escape the Democratic Matrix that farms human lives for their votes.
Good fuckin’ luck. You’re fighting against 50+ years of “the Dems care about me and mine while the Republicans wants to put me back in the fields.” You’re fighting against 50+ years of “free” food programs, housing vouchers, “free” education, “free” healthcare at the ER. You’re fighting against “we was proud people and then the evil white man murdered MLKJr.” You’re fighting against “Black History Month.” You’re fighting against 30+ years of black musical history which: propagates violence, establishes the “get rich or die tryin’” mentality, “fuck bitches” is the norm and “America hates you.” Good luck.
We need to pull back one curtain at a time. Liberals have reinvented red lining with restrictions on construction to prevent blacks from moving in. There are still housing programs that require you to remain a single mother. Even marijuana sales are being plundered from the black community by rich liberals.
Overheard an ABC segment on this last night in which they actually complained...get this...they complained that "every time an innocent black man is gunned down by police, weeks later the police will begin releasing this sort of information about them in order to paint them as a criminal." Like, FFS, maybe him getting busted stealing a television and breaking into someone's property is what paints him as, you know, a criminal, and not some "orchestrated PR campaign" by the police? It's some fucking "wet streets cause rain" shit. He's not painted as a criminal because he got shot, he got shot because he's a criminal.
They also went on to point out video footage from months back in which a white person was seen entering English's property, and made the point of saying "the white man was not hunted down and certainly not killed by McMichaels." Not even fucking kidding. Like, maybe the white guy caught on camera trespassing in English's home wasn't chased down by McMichaels because McMichaels hadn't been contacted by English about persistent break-ins yet? Maybe McMichaels wasn't readily available at the time? Maybe it's because English didn't notice the guy until he was reviewing the security footage later, and therefor wasn't in a position to immediately call McMichaels because he was literally watching a trespass in progress? Nope, the only reason the white guy hadn't been "hunted down" and killed by McMichaels must be because he was white, and for no other reason. Gotta stoke the flames of that racial hatred.
This is our media, folks. Enemy. Of. The. Fucking. People.
They have, haven’t they? The Hill completely dropped the story. I don’t go to FakenewsCNN or MSNPC much, but I’m guessing they dropped it like a hot potato too.
Covid-19 sells the clicks currently...we're not bored enough as a society to get infatuated with an unarmed black man getting shot, media blows those up when things are relatively calm as a nation....plus, people are getting desensitized, even people who think every one of these types of cases is 100% racism and can't be justified in any way.
The guy is a thief period. Proven by the fact that if he went on probation for 5 years in 2017 for stealing. Then he was in fact on probation when this happened. Sometimes people are just shit heads. This guy happened to be a black shithead so the leftwing media have a distraction story. No different from any other criminal shit head who got shot fighting an armed person. Now back to the real news...
That's what I've been saying from day 1. He charged to grab for the gun, without it even being pointed at him, while the gun was legally being carried......yet the media is trying to convince us that we're seeing something completely different, trying to tell us our eyes are lying to us. That's how insidious they are.
What he did was equivalent to if someone walked up to a cop and tried to take a gun from the cops holster, except the only difference is that they weren't cops and instead someone legally armed in public.
The media is trying to repaint what the videos show right before our eyes. He's being Trayvon Martin'd. MLK used to say "Judged by the content of their character not the color of their skin". But now they're trying to remove content of character entirely from judgement.
Fact: Ahmaud was chased off trying to wheel a TV out of the store in a cart without paying. When confronted by police, Ahmaud said "What TV?". Later Ahmaud tried to say he had a receipt and purchased the TV.
If a cop is asking me if I stole a TV or not, one I later claimed to have paid for, the first thing I wouldn't say when police stop me is "What TV?".
So yes, it's pretty damn obvious he tried to steal a TV.
He was clearly not a saint. He constantly got into trouble, and always had a nefarious motive. Which shows that the day he died, he wasn't just having a looksie when he was trespassing. After being given 5 years probation, if he was a good boy, he would have been smart enough to stay out of trouble.
This also means he was trespassing on that property in VIOLATION OF HIS PROBATION, even if he hadn't stolen anything yet (we all know he was gonna get his boys and come back later that night to ransack the place).
I am an attorney, and I tend to agree with you. Arbury was a bad dude, but it doesn't look like the guys chasing him had legal authority to do so, as it doesn't appear that they actually witnessed him committing a crime. They'll probably get convicted of manslaughter.
Ya but Georgia law doesnt let you blast off on a suspect.
A private person may arrest an offender if the offense is committed in his presence or within his immediate knowledge. If the offense is a felony and the offender is escaping or attempting to escape, a private person may arrest him upon reasonable and probable grounds of suspicion.
That seems like a weird move to me too if true. You have a neighborhood watch mostly just to call the cops when something happens so it seems like the builder should just call the cops if there were more breakins. Citizen arrests are kind of a last resort as there is a great potential for problems that someone in uniform would greatly reduce.
Lol relax. If it was a lawful citizen's arrest and the guy attacked and they shot Arbury bc they were attacked, my analysis would change and I'd probably agree with you. I haven't done enough research into it to know all the facts, so maybe I shouldn't have said anything.
And I'd go to the Donald on reddit, but it sucks ass now. I've unsubbed from that place long ago.
My take - both parties are at fault. They shouldn't have tried to play police - they knew who this guy was, and it should have been easy for the cops to track him down later without having to try to detain him. In addition, this dumbass shouldn't have rushed someone with a shotgun. Lots of stupidity to go around.
there was no physical danger to the shooters at that point and they chased him down.
I mean to be fair he was in physical danger at the time of the shooting. The shooter was literally getting punched in the head while having his weapon taken from him.
Chasing him down didn't lead to his death. Him grabbing the rifle and assaulting the guy with the gun is what lead to his death.
That being said the shooters should serve time, maybe 5 years of probation.
The thing is they did call the cops. Also, the cops literally told the homeowner they could contact the shooters if they saw anything suspicious lol. The cops literally were advising them to call Gregory McMichael because he is an ex police officer.
A text message obtained by CNN shows a Glynn County police officer told the owner of a home under construction near the Georgia coast that he could contact Gregory McMichael for help with potential trespassers seen in surveillance video from his property.
It's crazy how people don't want to defend the good guys in this story trying to defend their neighborhood.
Have you seen the other videos of Arbery? The one where the police had to attempt to tase him, he came across insanely aggressive.
If I was the defender I would say that Arbery caused the shooting due to his illegal activity and aggressiveness/violence. Arbery has a history of illegal activity including theft and he has a history of being aggressive when confronted.
At the end of the day he physically assaulted someone with a weapon and tried to take it from him, that is what realistically lead to his death. Otherwise you are making the assumption that these guys were willing to kill him in cold blood. The fact that Arbury was able to rush him with a weapon, get his hands on it, and repeatedly strike him in the head leads me to believe the two going after him acted with restraint. If he wanted to just murder him, he would have shot him before he got his hands on the gun.
I see it as an ex cop trying to keep his community safe from a criminal.
False, those guys will walk. They saw Armed Robbery commit a crime. Trespassing is a crime. By Georgia law, they had the right to detain him until police showed up.
I see what you are saying, but also think there is room for argument here that they chased him down to make a citizens arrest which is allowed under Georgia law. I would need more info on what is required of you to make a lawful citizens arrest in GA and whether you can chase someone to make the arrest and if you can have weapons out when you do so. I am in no way saying he deserved to be killed or that I would have done what these guys did to catch a supposed burglar, but all that really matters for their defense is whether they were within their legal right to make a citizens arrest and upon being charged and having his gun grabbed at, was then justified to defend to himself with lethal force. Now, whether these laws are good laws is another issue, but i could conceivably see them having a good defense here.
I have never claimed to be above larceny, just that it would have to be an easy enough score, with a big enough payoff, to enable me to live the rest of my life in luxury in an extradition free country, should I be suspect.
The mind of an idiot who would try to grab and go a $600 TV from a Wal Mart is beyond me.
That's dumb. A witness saw him try to steal the TV. The police likely had footage of him trying to steal the TV from inside the store. They aren't going to arrest him and give him 5 years probation without any evidence. What happened was he tried to wheel the TV out of the store without paying, and was chased off. Just because he didn't quite get out of the door with it, doesn't mean it's not shoplifting.
'Take a seat for what?' Arbery responds. 'I don't know nothing about no TV. … I don't steal no TV.'
A man then approaches the group and suggest that Arbery attempted to wheel the large television out of the store.
'What TV?' Arbery asks, before motioning toward the store. 'The TV is in there.'
Arbery attempts to get up, telling the officer that he has a receipt for the purchases he made. But officers instead detain Arbery and place him in a squad car.
You think they're going to put a guy in prison if he really had a receipt for the TV? No. He had no receipt, tried to pretend like he did. If he did have a receipt, he wouldn't have even been arrested or charged or sentenced.
So the fact that he lied about a receipt, is direct proof that he was trying to steal that TV. And no one who claims they bought a TV and had a receipt, is going to say "What TV?" when they're being detained about a theft of a TV.
Losers lose their lives in stupid ways.
His environment taught him everything he knew.
And it’s thanks to his dumbass mama and slacker dad.
Did he have a dad?
If Obama had a son.
If Obama had a son his wife too would be like big Mike.
Everyone has a dad. 65% of black daddies just don’t actually stick around.
73%
That escalated quickly.
Ever since we instituted the welfare state and replaced fathers with the government... yeah the black fatherless rate has escalated extremely quickly.
Cultural Marxism is helping it spread elsewhere now as well, eroding love of country and community among impressionable privileged youths: who then label the working class as stupid ignorant bigots right up until they pay taxes and actually make something of their lives. I hate ghetto culture more than anyone. But what led to his demise was 2 guys taking the law into their own hands when they didnt have to.
No good reason to chase him down guns in hand. Could have just called the cops. That was the right move.
Eh, kinda. I agree that it wasn't wise to try to stop him, especially considering his race in this political and social climate. But what actually led to his demise was charging a man with a shotgun.
And trying to jerk a shotgun away from the guy with his finger on the trigger. In effect pulling the trigger himself.
2nd truck? Shooting from the window? All I've seen is about 10 seconds of the deceased running behind - then around the front of a single truck.
Look up Stefan Molyneux's series of videos - all that need be said.
How can you charge them? With what?
They did everything legally. Disagree with the law, but they legally tried to stop someone they suspected of burglary. They legally had their guns with them. When attacked, they legally protected themselves.
It's a shit situation and no one is innocent on either side, but... it would be a miscarriage of justice to charge them because they may not have had the best of intentions.
Possibly the worst takeaway of the case.
They did call the cops. Look up the leaked 911 call of Greg McMichaels when in pursuit. He was on the phone with dispatchers when Ahmed charged Travis, who kept his gun lowered until Arbery tried to take it away. The neighborhood was being burglarized. Simple logic. No leftist has ever had this thought before.
I am left handed and I thought about it.
Watch that second video where he gets tazed (though it doesn't work). That's not a loser. That's an uncontrolled and potentially violent man.
Losers get into shit, but they don't fight people when confronted.
Nah! He was a choir boy! Just misunderstood by cops. Not a bad bone 🦴 in him. 🙄
It's like a poor jogger can't even watch tv nowadays without getting harassed....
I wonder if the police can release the GPS tracks of his phone so that we can all get a better understanding of his jogging path. 12 miles from home. VERY thirsty.
12 miles is just shy of a half marathon...he was one hell of a jogger. I’d be thirsty too.
The reports I've read suggest he had no phone on him.
Careful with the hard r tho
*Jogga
A poor jogger watching TV through somebody else's window.
According to the research S Molyneux has presented in his videos Arbery was arrested in (iirc) 2013 for bringing a handgun to a school basketball game. Not a high IQ individual
I understood from another article I read that the charges for this were dropped.
It said that he plead guilty to the crime in the article OP provided tho?
This worthless criminal fuck spent his entire life trying to get on police body cams.
Not a very smart individual. His lifestyle would have led him to do more and more bad acts the more he got away with stealing, destroying property and taking from others. He won’t be lost.

Why is he always wearing a winter coat and no shirt when he is on camera with the cops?
Blocks the tasers.
Also lots of pockets and places to sew false pockets.
☝️ This guy "streets".
I came back to the comments to ask that same damn question.
cuz he wants that thug vibe?

They have, haven’t they? The Hill completely dropped the story. I don’t go to FakenewsCNN or MSNPC much, but I’m guessing they dropped it like a hot potato too.
I'm curious why because they didn't drop much dumber cases like Michael Brown. Maybe because they can't have public riots.

Guess we figured out why he was jogging "I ain't going back to jail!"
And he didn't

You can tell there's no iq there.
During those 5 years, he concentrated on cardio and running a 4 minute mile! BIGOTS!
If he was jogging why didn't he just run away from the fat old dude Nd his fat son?
he was conserving energy so he could jog the 15miles back home after his daily jog
And how about that time he tried to take a gun into a high school gym?
Where is his tuxedo?
That's what I've been saying from day 1. joggers gonna jog sheeeit!!
Be extremely confrontational and aggressive to people your entire life, what could go wrong?
and Ahmad had a suspended drivers license. so he's on some kind of roll..
I'm guessing > 60 sub sahara IQ range.
Only a 65 inch? What a lightweight.
Underrated comment.
ICE Tray-von Martin part deuce....
Well, would have led to five years of probation. Instead he just got three...
He was just trying to get in some weight training while jogging
He was arrested by a black cop too, damn.
But he was gud boi

They shouldn't have tried to play police - they knew who this guy was, and it should have been easy for the cops to track him down later without having to try to detain him. In addition, this dumbass shouldn't have rushed someone with a shotgun. Lots of stupidity to go around.
He wasn't shot for the trespass or burglary, he was shot because he attempted to wrestle away a man's shotgun.
So you're saying the shooters should be
Punished for taking personal responsibility and stopping wrongdoing when they see it.
Punished for bearing arms and using those arms to defend themselves?
Always let the authorities handle things. Guns should only be used for hunting.
Don't you see the problem with this line of thinking?
The guy was an ex police officer of like 20+ years. The cops actualy told residents to call him if they saw any trouble in the neighborhood.
lol
Thats two time he was seen being contentious with police. It seems he had that same attitude when confronted by two men with a shotgun.
Ummmm who???

I have never claimed to be above larceny, just that it would have to be an easy enough score, with a big enough payoff, to enable me to live the rest of my life in luxury in an extradition free country, should I be suspect.
The mind of an idiot who would try to grab and go a $600 TV from a Wal Mart is beyond me.
I really think we should just ignore this case going forward. There is nothing to be gained by us taking sides, this isn't political.
Interesting.
And completely irrelevant.
HOLD UP EVERYBODY. let’s pump the brakes on this one. The video only shows him getting arrested. We don’t actually see him stealing a TV.
