All of this drama should redpill anyone looking to go into the "entertainment" industry and realize that it's not all fun and games, and that YT is not just the same site it used to be until 2012. Once advertisers and other hands got involved, that was when it became clear that the platform should be abandoned.
And you see these content creators complaining all the time about how they can't say this word or that word, or that they have to censor their speech, and I'm over here like, "MOVE TO BITCHUTE! YOU HAVE A FOLLOWING! ADVERTISE YOUR MOVE! MAKE A BIG DEAL ABOUT IT!"
But no, Bitchute is where all of those "scary conspiracy theorists" are at. Even though individuals like Computing Forever and TheQuartering and others who aren't even remotely close to being such have made the move and are trying to help build up an alternative. Like, just because you move over to a new platform doesn't mean you are a conspiracy theorist yourself or that you have to make such content! It's about giving yourself the ability to do what YOU want to do with no contracts or anything to bind you.
But no, money talks more than common sense even though all of these big YT stars get stuff to review for free (that they don't have to return back AFAIK), probably get paid who knows how much to just sit around, commentate, play video games and commentate, whisper into a microphone or make sounds via a microphone or do other stuff that, admittedly, could've paid bills years ago when the economy was legitimately in the shitter and when YT's policies were more laissez-faire. Unfortunately though, anything bought by Google that gets lots of use gets pushed more and more until it becomes no different than the ship people were trying to get off of with mainstream TV content. If anything, all of these YT stars should have been saving their money as opposed to using it to buy expensive stuff that only enthusiasts really pay attention to or care about for when this situation came about as opposed to e-begging for Patreon donations and constantly having promotions for products that people know are just being sold to them with no real passion from the creator that's selling it!
