Anybody remember the old SNL skit about "Happy Fun Ball"? It was about a toy rubber ball, with implied sentience, that came with warnings that sounded pretty much like this commercial. At the time, it was a parody of the current drug commercials. Think about that. The pharmaceutical warnings are now beyond parody. Talk about frightening.

And on a final note: no one bitches about chemo or radiation therapy. And those ARE poisons that far too frequently DO kill the patient and are just as frequently at least as bad as the disease, if not worse. It's true. Satan runs this planet.

I tried that shit and it was quite possibly the worst experience of my life. in the end, Vaping helped the most when I quit

Sounds like it would make you give up smoking to do heroin instead. Anything to kill the pain.

There was a radio host in Atlanta for a while that talked about his Chantix dreams. Said he had one where he was riding an ostrich naked at the Publix deli counter to buy some Lebanon bologna

Shit was hilarious

I've taken Chantix to quit smoking. Never again, pedes, never again. The drug DID work for me. I lost the craving to smoke after about a week. The side effects are the reason I won't take it again. I got ANGRY. Really angry. Punching walls for no reason angry. I started itching all over. And then the super vivid dreams. The kind that wake you up out of a deep sleep. I experienced driving off a 100 Ft. cliff, including the crash at the end, hacking up my neighbors pets with a machete, and waking up next to my deceased and putrefying wife in bed, all in totally recallable Technicolor and aural details (yes, I can vividly remember the smells). After about a week of never making it through a complete sleep cycle, I quit the drug. I started smoking again soon after.... I'm weak and addicted to nicotine, so sue me....

I've been on the Chantix and it is as bad if not worse than what others have been saying. Almost 30 year smoker here - took this drug a couple years back and sure enough it will work and you will stop smoking but my God people will be terrified of you. I'f you want to quit smoking and could use a good mindfuck this is the drug of choice but I'll stick with my vape sticks.

So they didn’t mention it affecting combative aggressive disorder does that mean it’s ok? Asking for a friend

Take it from me: Stopping smoking is a must.

I've been in declining health through my 50s, all of it related to smoking. I promise you the potential aftereffects are not worth chancing.

I used it for about three months and was able to quit smoking. I've been cigarette free since April 25th, 2007. The only side effects I experienced was really vivid dreams. No, I DID NOT say nightmares, I said dreams. Normal everyday dreams. Even one where I could fly unaided. That was cool! I did not experience anger. I did not experience anything that was even remotely negative. I suggest that maybe those who had problems with it were predisposed to anger, demented dreams, or other negative results. In the interest of transparency I DO NOT own stock of any kind and I do not work for the makers of Chantix, In fact I'm retired and don't work period. And thanks to Chantix I don't smoke either.
