Here's the thing... i don't want this to become any more of an argument about "the science" than it already is. Science is hard (have real science degree). Stuff like this... the rates of infection, yadda yadda, is really really hard to determine accurately... varies by location, demographic, timing, etc.
Let the scientists continue ask and answer scientific questions.
What this needs to be about is this: what are the principles that we operate under as a free society? If and when we all agree to suspend any rights or privileges, what are the principles that guide us?
As bad as the purported "best" models have been, what has been worse is the complete willy-nilly application of executive orders with zero legislative and judicial oversight.
