Arent we supposed to be wearing masks so we dont spread it to others. Im not for wearing masks but isnt that the purpose of them?

There is no proof that it does any good. They were just telling us not to a few months ago.
No, thats what a single scientific community has stated. It's proven wrong, because A.) people don't wear them correctly, and b.) it causes people to touch their face more.
Theres also some interesting stuff linked to herd immunity, which masks prevent.
This is AMERICA, if you would like to wear a mask thats great, but leave it up to the rest of us.
If you're healthy, you don't need a mask.
If you're sick, you should be staying home, and don't need a mask then either.
Masks should be only for medical facilities and other extreme case situations, not daily use by average people.
