The strength of the space trilogy is not in the story, though it is superb. Its Not in the content or even in the philosophical and theological arguments presented. Its strength, or β€œglory” as lewis would put it is in the overarching themes that stretch the imagination.

Agreed. Its awesome to see a writer spend two books to set the stage just to get a point across.
