I just completed my first week back at a MI Ford factory. Not the one that was making masks. They are taking this whole "wear a mask" thing seriously. Just to go to work you need to a) fill out a survey ahead of you reporting to the plant that says you haven't traveled, haven't been around someone with the Wu-Flu, and have practiced social distancing. Those kinds of things. If you say yes to any of the questions, you aren't working for 2 weeks. Once you arrive at the site,before you get out of your car, you put on one of those surgical masks. Then it's through the tent where you show you took the survey and have gotten permission to work, and get your temp taken with a thermal imaging cam. Only then will you be allowed through the turnstile. Don't get caught without your mask on while on site, you'll be sent home for 2 weeks. Everyone is supposed to be wearing full face shields when working in close proximity of someone else.
The other afternoon they stopped production about halfway through the shift and sent everyone home early- Someone working was overheard stating that they had lied on their survey and had been in close proximity of another person who had tested positive for the Wu-Flu. That person was sent home for 2 weeks, and every area in the plant they had been to was "emergency cleaned". Ford is jumping through hoops to stay open- I doubt they'd fight the AG over this. GEOTUS won't be invited back until the Wu-Flu is a distant memory. Say Yes To Michigan!
