All of the politicians are pretty much complicit, they know if they destroy the swamp it kills the gravy train for them as well. One or 2 low levels idiots will go to jail eventually. Theyll write books telling all and it will be the truth but the media will just paint them as vindictive and it will go nowhere. The only way true justice will ever occur is when someone or some people gets soo sick of it all and starts their own "star chamber". It was an 80's movie where judges got sick of letting guilty people go but had to to follow the law. They would retry the case in secret with other judges and pass sentence. They then quietly hired assassins to pass judgement on those they deemed skirted the law.
