Never in history has there been a 'second wave' of a cold/flu virus. Such viruses run their course until everyone gets herd immunity and then dies off.

Actually the Spanish Flu in 1918 had a significant second wave, worse than the first. Not saying we should shut down over it, but just clearing that up.

This^^ It had a second and a third wave which was much worse then the first. However I haven't read anything about the country shutting down or state tyrants trampling on the constitution .

If you want something really mind blowing read about the Hong Kong flu of 1968-69.

I heard an interesting theory on this the other day. It was that we may be in the second wave of the Wu-Flu right now. It's been here since November.

In that case i wouldnt even call them 'waves', thats just how long pandemics take to spread. The Black Plague went on for 4 years.

That's with natural diseases, not ones deliberately designed and engineered in labs by spectacularly, breathtakingly evil communists bent on world domination and mass depopulation via the intentional spread of contagious disease using biological terrorism weaponry.

Those 18-40 years old were coming home from the war starving and near death, and were better hosts than the women and elderly that lived in their respected countries. That is why it looked like a second wave.
